Bringing a New Level of Detail and Support to Your DoorDash Order

At DoorDash we’re always looking for new ways to give you more transparency and control over your order experience. From offering a diverse selection of your favorite restaurants to providing text updates on order status, providing consistently delightful deliveries is our top priority.

Today we’re excited to share a number of updates we’ve made to the Order Status page on the web, allowing you to easily make changes to your order and track your delivery in real time.

Accurate, up-to-the-minute information about your order

Have you ever wondered exactly when your Dasher received an order or when they arrived at the restaurant? Now you can know exactly that. New and improved Order Statuses provide detailed information about your order in real-time so you always know exactly how it’s going each step of the way. Keep an eye on the page to see when the restaurant has started preparing your food, when the Dasher has arrived at the restaurant, when he or she has left the restaurant, if there’s a delay with the order, and when the Dasher is just a few minutes away.

Manage your order even after checkout

Changing your address, rescheduling a delivery, or even cancelling an order should be easy – even after it’s been placed. We’ve added these simple tasks to the Order Status page so you can adjust your order without needing to contact DoorDash (just make sure to submit any changes before your Dasher leaves the restaurant).

Automatic Updates

You no longer need to refresh the page to find out if there’s any progress on the delivery. The Order Status page updates regularly and automatically so it always displays the latest information.

Over the coming weeks we’ll be rolling out the updated Order Status page to our mobile apps, and bringing even more improvements to help make it your one-stop-shop for tracking orders, managing existing order, or submitting support requests. Stay tuned!
