Today we announced our official launch in Puerto Rico, serving more than 1.1 million residents. We are so excited to extend our vision to the Caribbean for the first time and connect the incredible restaurants, Dashers, and people of the diverse Puerto Rico food scene. To do so, we’ve expanded our product so that each app and service are now fully accessible in Spanish for the first time.
With this launch, we’ve also added more than 600 merchants to our platform, including national partners like The Cheesecake Factory and Panda Express and local favorites such as Santaella, Raices, No Manches, Esencia, Callejeros, Ponte Fresco, The Place @ Condado, and Go Fresh.
In celebration of our arrival in Puerto Rico, our first predominantly Spanish-speaking market, we’re launching a special Descuento de Dash* promotion available today through November 23. For every increment of $20 a customer spends on an order, they will receive a $4 discount code and DoorDash will donate $4 to the Foundation for Puerto Rico to support their efforts in driving economic and social development across the island through programs of business support and incubation.
